It is true that the wrong alternatives might produce poor results, but there are many alternatives with studies that show efficacy, some proven to work. Yes, there are actually alternatives proven to work in studies. According to reports from Google, diet affects cancer risk mainly through body weight, inflammation, and cellular damage. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fiber, fruits, and vegetables helps lower the risk of several cancers. Eating a lot of processed meats, red meat, alcohol, and ultra-processed foods can raise the risk. However, there is much more. There is at least one vitamin, if you have sufficient levels, significantly reduces your chance of getting cancer as well as reducing the risk of dying. For example: lower serum vitamin D levels are associated with higher overall cancer mortality in study after study. People in the US are basically on a starvation level of vitamin D, especially in the winter. It is no wonder that many cancer cases get diagnosed Feb, Mar, and decreases after Apr. A early large randomized Women’s Health Initiative trial found that supplementation with 400 IU vitamin D plus 1000 mg calcium had no effect on the incidence of breast or colorectal cancer among postmenopausal women. No wonder, that is about as low as a preson gan get without developing scurvy. Many of the vitamin D studies use the term 'adequate' which is a meaningless unknown. What every person wants is 'optimum' ( the best level that it can get to, providing the maximim support. Cancer studies using chemotherapy often use the maximum level possible without causing sever consequences you with vitamins, nutrition, and supplements, they often use very low levels or even near starvation levels. The problem here is that 2000 IU is a pittance. Many people who are serious about their health take 5000 IU a day ( with 200 mcg of K2 ) or even more. Doctors and traditional therapy
Some people think that the AMA ( American Medical Association ) is benevolent and supports scientific research. This is not true and the AMA is basically a 'doctor's union', established to insure the status and well being of the doctors that are members. That does not mean that this is bad, it is just their purpose.Additionally, most people know little about cancer and want to trust their doctor for answers. Sadly, most doctors know little about nutrition or supplements. Why I wrote this book
I started writing this book during the time my wife was struggling with her late stage lung cancer because if we had this information years before, she probably could have lived much longer and possibly could have beat it. She did survive for almost 20 years after her first symptoms appeared although at the time, and 20 years is a long time, her doctors did not understand that they were cancer symptoms. After her passing, I have continuously researched many cancer alternatives that we did not know about at the time. Later, my sister, a M.D., developed her MMIBC breast cancer and was diagnosed in 2010, was told by her oncologist that she wold likely only live for about 2-1/2 years. Using mostly natural and alternative therapies discussed in this book, she lived about 9-1/2 years. Interesting choice? Live 2-1/2 years in misery or a better healthier 9 years?Is this information good?
Some of the information in this book is often 'lost' among lots propaganda designed to convince you that alternatives can not work. The reality is that there are studies proving that certain things found in food are actually as effective or possibly even better than certain things offered by the medical community. Often articles that claim that alternatives do not work are the result of fingers on the scales. The medical industry is not only good at hiding and misrepresenting alternatives but they are dedicated to it.This book explains about the importance of pH, especially evaluating saliva and urine pH as real-time indicators of the body's net buffering capacity represents a practical, daily mechanism for monitoring metabolic resilience. Rather than misinterpreting these metrics as direct reflections of systemic blood pH, Cancer Alternatives utilizes them as a functional scorecard, illustrating how effectively the body is neutralizing and clearing metabolic acids—such as the massive local spikes in lactic acid produced by tumors. The reason for this is the 7.35 vs. 7.39 impairment, even if systemic blood results sit at a legally "normal" 7.35, the global capacity of T-cells and Natural Killer (NK) cells to respond is already structurally diminished compared to a healthier 7.39 baseline. The closer to a 7.39 - 7.40 blood pH that the tumor environment maintains, the better the chance of the immune system fighting the cancer. If a patients blood pH drops below 7.29 to 7.30, the higher the risk to their health and lower the chance of recovery.
Urine and Saliva pH: Healthy morning urine typically sits at a mildly acidic baseline around 6.0 to 6.5. When urine pH drops consistently below 5.5, it indicates that the kidneys are under immense, continuous strain to dump metabolic acid. In oncology, chronic, severely low urinary pH is an independent marker heavily associated with insulin resistance, lower glomerular filtration rates (kidney strain), and poorer long-term survival outcomes. This is something that you can monitor yourself and keep tabs on how well you are doing.
Also, Saliva pH normally sits closer to a neutral baseline of 6.5 to 7.0. But, When saliva pH drops below 6.0, it signals that the body is losing its extracellular buffering equilibrium. When the body is forced to fight high chronic inflammation or tissue-level lactic acid spikes, it pulls alkaline mineral reserves (like calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate) directly out of tissues and bones to keep the blood stable. Low saliva pH implies these fluid reserves are exhausted. It can let you know that your risk of bone metastaces might be increasing.
When facing cancer and possible death from cancer, patients expect their doctor to provide the best guidance and support. In this age of information, many have found that the information provided by the family doctor or the oncologist may be fairly limited or even seriously biased. Often, they will provide only information about traditional therapies while some others always want try the latest fad in chemotherapy or radiation. They appear to only know about chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation, having no interest in anything else. As a result, the oncologist will usually only offer chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Alternatives are rarely mentioned. Doctors can only discuss things that they were taught in school and what is in scientific journals. Why would the cancer industry mislead people about cancer alternatives?
Think about it! If just one alternative was proven to work as good or as fast as standard chemo threatment, the entire industry gravy train would disappear. A do it yourself treatment for cancer. The problem is that if this happened, the industry would cover it up and block people from finding it. The truth is that there are many scientific studies that show that alternatives can and do work.Why are they hiding this information?
